Good Morning Nagpur
The Election Department has completed a major voter mapping exercise in Nagpur district under the Pre-Special Intensive Revision process. As part of this work, around 32.4 lakh electors have been mapped across the district to strengthen and update electoral roll records.
Booth Level Officers carried out door-to-door verification and collected enumeration forms from voters in different constituencies. The exercise was conducted to verify voter details at the ground level and ensure accuracy in the electoral database.
According to officials, the process is aimed at improving the quality, transparency and correctness of voter records before the upcoming revision work. The department is focusing on accurate voter data, updated electoral rolls and a more transparent election process.
The final review and submission process is expected to be completed before the June 30 deadline. This large-scale exercise is considered an important step toward maintaining clean and reliable voter records in Nagpur district.
