A Dahi Handi celebration reportedly came under police action after the DJ music at the event crossed the permitted noise limit. According to the report, the sound level reached 102.4 dB, significantly raising concerns over excessive noise during the celebration. Police had reportedly warned the organisers and sound operator to keep the volume under control and follow the prescribed sound limits.
Despite the warnings, the DJ music allegedly continued at a high volume. Following the reported violation, a police case was registered against Karan Omprakash Yadav and the sound operator. The incident highlights the importance of following permitted noise levels during public celebrations and ensuring that festive events do not cause disturbance to nearby residents.
