Engineering Professor & Family Booked in 18 Year Harassment Case

Nagpur: Hudkeshwar Police have registered a harassment and cruelty case after a 40-year-old woman filed a formal complaint against her husband, an engineering professor, and his family members.
According to the complaint, the woman alleged that she faced mental and physical harassment after marriage. She also claimed that pressure was allegedly put on her over money and property-related matters.
The couple had reportedly tried to resolve the dispute through court proceedings and counselling, but the matter remained unresolved. After counselling failed, the woman approached the police and submitted a written complaint.
Based on the complaint, police have registered a case against the professor and his family members under relevant sections related to cruelty and harassment. Further investigation is currently underway.
