A late-night fire broke out at a café located inside Mangalam Complex in Gokulpeth, Nagpur, during the early hours of Sunday, causing extensive damage to the establishment. The incident triggered a fire response, with personnel from the NMC Civil Lines Fire Station reaching the location and bringing the blaze under control.

According to the details highlighted in the report, the fire caused significant damage to the café’s interior and equipment. Four air-conditioning units, furniture and other café-related equipment and materials were reportedly gutted in the blaze. The estimated loss has been put at around ₹2 lakh.

Firefighters worked to contain the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to surrounding areas of the complex. Images from the scene show extensive damage to the café, including burnt furniture, equipment and sections of the interior.

The exact cause of the fire has not yet been ascertained, and the matter remains under investigation. Authorities are expected to examine the electrical systems, wiring, appliances and other possible sources to determine how the fire started.
