Nagpur: The construction work on the city’s important Indora–Dighori Flyover project has now reached its final stage. The remaining construction and finishing works are being completed at a faster pace, following which preparations are underway to open the flyover for public movement.

The project is being considered an important step towards reducing traffic pressure on Nagpur’s busy roads and improving connectivity between different parts of the city. Once operational, the flyover is expected to provide relief from congestion at several major junctions and busy road stretches.

For motorists travelling between Indora, Dighori and surrounding areas, the new route could make daily commuting smoother and more convenient. Improved connectivity between key connecting roads is also expected to strengthen movement between the northern and eastern parts of Nagpur.

Once the construction work is completed, the route will be prepared for traffic in a phased manner. At present, the focus remains on completing the final project preparations. The opening of the flyover is expected to help ease Nagpur’s growing traffic pressure while strengthening connectivity across the city.
