A fire broke out at Somany Tiles near Baidyanath Chowk, triggering an immediate response from the fire brigade. The incident occurred during the day and quickly raised concerns as the flames emerged from the commercial premises.

Firefighters reportedly reached the location within around two minutes and began efforts to bring the blaze under control. Their quick intervention helped prevent the fire from spreading to nearby shops and potentially causing significantly greater damage in the busy commercial area.

The property damage caused by the incident has been estimated at around ₹2 lakh. At the same time, timely firefighting efforts are reported to have helped protect property worth approximately ₹10 lakh from further damage.

Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported in the incident. The quick response by the fire personnel played an important role in containing the flames before they could spread to adjoining establishments.
