Good Morning Nagpur
Nagpur witnessed continuous rainfall, recording 32.2 mm of rain, bringing temporary relief from humid weather conditions. The downpour was reported as the city’s second-highest rainfall of the season.
According to weather updates, Mauda recorded 60.6 mm of rainfall, while several areas across Nagpur experienced water accumulation on roads and underpasses. Gusty winds also caused incidents of falling trees, affecting traffic movement in some locations.
The India Meteorological Department has warned that heavy to very heavy rainfall may occur at isolated places across Vidarbha, with more intense showers expected in the coming days.
Residents have been advised to carry umbrellas or raincoats, avoid flooded and low-lying roads, stay away from weak trees and electric poles, and follow official weather and traffic advisories. Unnecessary travel should be avoided during periods of intense rainfall.
Although the rain has provided relief from the humid weather, authorities have urged citizens to remain alert and prioritise safety.
