Good Morning Nagpur
Nagpur district has witnessed strong progress in the Election Commission’s Special Intensive Revision drive, with nearly 40% of voters receiving pre-filled enumeration forms in the first week.
As part of the voter verification campaign, Booth Level Officers are visiting households to check voter details, collect corrections, and update electoral records. The drive covers around 46.38 lakh registered voters across the district, with more than 4,600 BLOs deployed for ground-level verification.
Officials have urged citizens to carefully check their name, photograph, contact details, and other information on the form. Voters must correct any mistakes, sign the form, and submit it to the concerned BLO. Digitally aware voters can also complete the process through the Election Commission portal.
The administration has also clarified that voters will not be marked absent immediately, as BLOs will make multiple visits before taking such action. The drive aims to ensure accurate voter data and strengthen the electoral process ahead of upcoming elections.
