A tragic incident was reported from Katol in Nagpur district during the immersion of a Gauri idol, where two 13-year-old boys reportedly drowned in a lake. The incident occurred while the boys were accompanying their mothers for the Gauri idol immersion ceremony.

The deceased have been identified as Ayush Harish Kumre and Darshan Dhanraj Lad, both 13 years old and residents of Zilpa village. According to the information available, the two boys were present near the water body during the immersion proceedings when the unfortunate incident took place.

The incident has left their families and the local community in deep shock. What was expected to be a traditional religious occasion turned into a tragedy after the two children lost their lives in the lake.
