60 Bottles of Foreign Liquor trace by Dog .

Nagpur :Recovered from Unclaimed Bags in Train 
As part of the ongoing drive to prevent the smuggling of narcotic substances and illegal materials in trains, a joint team of the Dog Squad, Nagpur and Crime Intelligence Branch (CIB), Nagpur, recovered 60 bottles of foreign liquor from three unclaimed bags in Train No. 16032 Andaman Express.
Head Constable Neeraj and Constable Vipin Satpute of the Dog Squad, Nagpur, along with Constable Sachin of CIB, Nagpur, conducted a checking operation with sniffer dog ‘Prince’ on the Nagpur–Betul route. During the inspection of Train No. 16032 Andaman Express, at around 08:00 hrs near Katol, three cloth bags were found underneath Seats Nos. 17–19 of Coach S-4.
Sniffer dog ‘Prince’ repeatedly indicated the bags. On enquiry, none of the passengers seated nearby claimed ownership of the three bags. The unclaimed bags were subsequently brought to RPF Police Station, Nagpur, after the train arrived at Nagpur station.
The bags were opened and checked by Assistant Sub-Inspector Vithoba Marskolhe under CCTV surveillance. The search resulted in the recovery of 60 bottles of foreign liquor, having a total value of approximately ₹37,920/-.
After completing the necessary documentation, the seized liquor was handed over to Devanand Taroke of the Excise Department, Nagpur, for further legal action. A case has been registered under the relevant provisions of the Prohibition Act.
Central Railway, Nagpur Division, continues to conduct intensive checking and surveillance operations to ensure passenger safety and prevent illegal activities and smuggling in trains.

श्वान पथक की मदद से ट्रेन में तीन लावारिस बैगों से 60 बोतल विदेशी शराब बरामद

नागपुर मंडल में ट्रेनों के माध्यम से मादक पदार्थों एवं अवैध सामग्री की तस्करी की रोकथाम के लिए चलाए जा रहे अभियान के तहत श्वान पथक, नागपुर एवं अपराध खुफिया शाखा (CIB), नागपुर की संयुक्त टीम ने कार्रवाई करते हुए ट्रेन से 60 बोतल विदेशी शराब बरामद की।
दिनांक 06.09.2026 को श्वान पथक, नागपुर के प्रधान आरक्षक नीरज एवं आरक्षक विपिन सातपुते तथा अपराध खुफिया शाखा, नागपुर के आरक्षक सचिन, श्वान ‘प्रिंस’ के साथ नागपुर–बैतूल मार्ग पर ट्रेनों की जांच कर रहे थे। इसी दौरान ट्रेन संख्या 16032 अंडमान एक्सप्रेस की जांच के दौरान लगभग 08.00 बजे, जब ट्रेन काटोल के पास से गुजर रही थी, कोच संख्या S-4 की सीट संख्या 17 से 19 के नीचे तीन कपड़े के बैग पाए गए।
श्वान ‘प्रिंस’ द्वारा बार-बार उक्त बैगों को सूंघने का प्रयास किए जाने पर आसपास बैठे यात्रियों से पूछताछ की गई, लेकिन किसी भी यात्री ने उन तीनों बैगों पर अपना मालिकाना हक नहीं जताया। संदेह के आधार पर तीनों लावारिस बैगों को ट्रेन के नागपुर स्टेशन पहुंचने के बाद रेसुब थाना, नागपुर लाया गया।
सीसीटीवी कैमरे की निगरानी में सहायक उप निरीक्षक विठोबा मरसकोल्हे द्वारा तीनों बैगों की जांच की गई। तलाशी के दौरान बैगों से कुल 60 बोतल विदेशी शराब बरामद हुई, जिसकी कुल कीमत लगभग ₹37,920/- है।
आवश्यक कागजी कार्रवाई पूर्ण करने के बाद जब्त शराब को अग्रिम कानूनी कार्रवाई हेतु आबकारी विभाग, नागपुर के देवानंद तरोके को सुपुर्द किया गया। इस संबंध में अपराध दारूबंदी अधिनियम के तहत मामला दर्ज किया गया है।
मध्य रेल, नागपुर मंडल द्वारा यात्रियों की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने तथा ट्रेनों में अवैध गतिविधियों एवं तस्करी की रोकथाम के लिए नियमित रूप से सघन जांच एवं निगरानी अभियान चलाए जा रहे है ।
