A tragic road accident near Kalmeshwar claimed the life of a 23-year-old MBA student from Nagpur on Monday afternoon. The deceased, identified as Anshul Rajendra Samarth, a resident of Adarsh Nagar and a student of Raisoni College, lost control of his motorcycle while negotiating a curve near Chinchbhavan village in the Kalmeshwar area.
According to police, Anshul was travelling from Nagpur to Kalmeshwar on his TVS Raider motorcycle when the accident occurred. As he passed through the Chinchbhavan mine area, his bike reportedly skidded on a curve, throwing him onto the road. The impact caused severe head injuries along with multiple injuries to other parts of his body.
Local residents who witnessed the accident immediately rushed to help and shifted him to the Rural Hospital in Kalmeshwar. However, despite efforts to save him, doctors declared him dead upon examination.
Police have registered a case and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident. The incident has left family members, friends, and fellow students in shock, while raising concerns about road safety on the stretch where the mishap occurred.
