Nagpur Boxer Alfiya Pathan Selected to Represent India at World Boxing Cup in China
Nagpur: In a proud moment for the city, Nagpur’s ace boxer Alfiya Pathan has been officially selected to represent India at the upcoming prestigious World Boxing Cup. The elite international tournament is scheduled to take place in Guiyang, China, from June 15 to June 21, 2026.
Alfiya, a highly accomplished athlete from the region, will don the Indian colors and compete in the women's 80+ kg weight category. Known for her powerful performances in national and international circuits, her inclusion in the Indian squad further cements her reputation as one of the country's top boxing talents.
