Nagpur’s Young Paddler Saarth Shastry Enters Pre-Quarterfinals

Nagpur: Nagpur’s young table tennis player Saarth Shastry delivered an impressive performance in the Maharashtra State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament, securing his place in the U-17 Boys Singles Pre-Quarterfinals.
Saarth had a challenging start as he lost the opening game, but he made a strong comeback with better control, sharp returns and confident attacking play. He defeated Pune’s Aaryan Wankhade in a competitive match.
The final score of the match was 9-11, 11-6, 11-8, 11-8, showing Saarth’s fighting spirit and ability to bounce back under pressure.
With this win, Saarth has kept Nagpur’s hopes alive in the tournament and will now look to continue his strong run in the upcoming round.
Meanwhile, Nagpur’s other players, including Purab and Karan, could not move ahead in the competition after tough matches.
